Batman and Robin sits comfortably amongst a mixture of art, toys and accessories

I let you know how it all goes.

Shrink Plastic

What a fun product I discovered lately....Shrink Plastic.
It's super cool plastic sheets that you draw on then bake. They shrink to a thick tile like thingy.

I've been drawing on it and so has Rosie. Check out the results.....

The finished project.  I mounted it with double sided adhesive foam to an open box frame

The before effect, drawing with pen on half an A4 sheet

The after cooking, it shrank to approx 7cm x 4cm

Here's Rosie colouring in a piece that was pre cut and hole punched
They make fab key rings
I'm going to try printing some artwork on it and making some broaches and necklaces.  I'll keep you posted.
I got my shrink plastic from spotlight store but there are many craft places that you can order it from on line.

Shop Samples

I've been getting some samples together to take to some local shops....here's hoping they will take a few of my pieces.

The mini's are in cello bags with little info sheet and tied with a little ribbon, they look cute.
I'll keep you posted.

Collective collage

From my recent zines fair purchase of 'the nellie no friends' pocket art course zine...I've completed one of the projects.
It was to collect items and arrange, photograph and resize to a 4x6 postcard.  I picked some of Rosie's things and it looks great.  You could use this as a picture or note cards.  It's a great idea.  Here's the results.....

Check out http://www.etsy.com/shop/hedgiepig to purchase your copy of Nellie no friends pocket art course. It's got other great projects in it.
